Hi all, Over the past year I have built a site that is coming very high for Uk related searches in its niche, which has the contact details of a service company that I rent the site to. It is a .org so not necessarily constrained to any country. Does anyone know whether I might dilute my existing geographically related site by just adding more and more locally targeted pages, maybe I should use subdomains for each country ? It occurred to me that I could do the same in other countries either as a directory site or coming to a similar arrangement where I rent the site to different companies for different countries /regions. I did a quick test and dropped in 4th in the serps for a New York related search so it seems that side would work ok. Would I be starting from scratch or would I gain some kudos from the existing domain ? Wow this post has ended up much longer than I thought, has anyone got any experience of this ? |

If I were you, I would have created different websites for different region and optimize them independently. In order to route the audience to the website for specific region, make sure you have connected your main website to regional websites. This will not affect the ranking of your main website and you can optimize your regional websites for targeted region in a good way. |
