long url question ???

does it matter for seo if a url has a space in it instead of a dash???
such as >> wwww.xxx.com/big-red dogs
vs >> wwww.xxx.com/big-red-dogs

lets say my long url for big red dogs is >> wwww.xxx.com/big-red dogs

if i do backlinking to >> wwww.xxx.com/big-red-dogs ((with dash))

will my wwww.xxx.com/big-red dogs -- get the backlinks ???

A dash and a space are completely different.

If your page is wwww.xxx.com/big-red dogs, but you enter wwww.xxx.com/big-red-dogs in your browser for example, you will not be taken to your actual page, but it will return a 404 error

I suggest you stick to wwww.xxx.com/big-red-dogs or wwww.xxx.com/bigreddogs - as long as the keyword is in the URL, that's what helps.
