One of the ways that I managed to drive so much traffic to my site was by utilising searched for keyphrases in AWStats but after google encrypting searches for logged in users my traffic has dropped a fair bit. I am now looking for a couple of things: 1) If there is any way round this? In GA the top searched for term is 'not provided' so I can't take advantage of key phrases 2) What other methods are people using now for SEO? What SB sites are working well? Is blog commenting as successful? I've been off the Warrior scene for a while so please bear with me. |

I can not find a way to get round this, but Google Keyword Tool seems not affected by encrypting searches, you can still do effective keyword research to find the right key phrases to optimize your website. Social bookmarking is working perfectly well. I have keywords ranked on the first page of Google just after several hundred social bookmarking submissions. You can search "Powered by Pligg" to find out thousands of social bookmarking sites. Blog commenting is useful for building backlinks and generating decent amount of direct traffic to your website, though I prefer social bookmarking, as it takes less time to implement and is very effective. |
