Theme Keyword Question?

My question is say like my theme keyword was planning a wedding, would i use planning a wedding as my seed keyword and generate a list of keywords to find my category keywords?

According to the adword keyword tool planning a wedding gets 8000 exact match local monthly searches (us). How to plan a wedding gets 9900 exact match local monthly searches with 1.9m phrase match results. I would go for the latter personally.

im trying to figure out how can i find category keywords, can i say find a category keyword and can i add words into like say the category was planning a wedding. Could I add how to plan a wedding?
