Hi there, I have noticed that my competitor used to have the top five links all sewn up. This was when I was the second wesbite, position six in the SERPS. Now, after backlinking and adding heaps of new content, the competitor only has the top two links (I am in third). Does this mean that I am moving closer to stealing their no.1 rank or does the number of extra pages from the same site in the SERPs not matter? |

What is the domain age of your competitor's site? If the site is much "older" than yours, it might take some time to get ahead, but don't give up, it's very possible your competitor has already stopped all promotion work. But you know, the competition never sleeps, and so shouldn't you | |

yup your on the right track mate, although it really depends on the competitors previous stats on those positions seo wise i mean, i've found sometimes ill rank a sites main domain for the main kw and then other pages from the same site will rank too on first page without me doing any offsite seo to those pages..... but besides that what i would advise you to do is some spying on his number no.1 position see what links he using and then match and beat them, get a load of links coming in from several sources in big regular blasts, always update content every 2 days and you'll beat him in no time! |

The extra pages on the first page do matter. If they are from the same site, they have 5 of their pages each individually ranking on the top 5 spots. If you've managed to move up to 3rd spot, that does mean you moved up and are closer to number one.

yea dude, basically, google is noticing that your page is now more relevant than those other inner pages and it is ranking you higher. If you keep doing what you're doing you should be able to take over all those inner pages in no time. |

hi Kiwi This is my wish to analyse the sites which standards in good position in major SE. All of your content and designs of your site is not in collaboration for the SEO path. This is admirable one to mention here that you have totally 13 back links and all the back links are worthy and valuable. Especially your .edu back links will give much more gain for your site... All the best for your quality work and go ahead front. |
