How do I no-index a page or post

Hi, How do I no index a page or post in wordpress. I use the template flexsqueeze if it makes a difference. I have a page I don't want to show in the search results, including site:mydomain.com, and I guess this is the way to do it.

Hey Glenn,

Type "no index" into the Wordpress plugins search and get the no index/no follow plugin and it'll add a field below your posts and pages where you can check box "no index", "no follow" or both.

That plugin works great, if you are more of a coder then going to robots.txt on your server works too. I prefer to go into robots.txt because I know it gets done properly

Put a Restriction in robots.txt to prevent robots to visit the page and to remove from the ranking.

I recommend you get the plugin Yoast SEO. It's awesome, it's the best SEO plugin I've tried for Wordpress so far, you can no-follow or no-index any kind of pages with it, be it category pages, tag pages, archives, author pages, anything.

Most of popular seo plugins add a field under post/page edit page to noindex particular post/page. I'm currently using seo ultimate and it has a field under edit page/post.
