SEO - Link Velocity Plan? People With Experience

Hey guys

Just wondering if link velocity, if you have any figures or rough estimates you have used when you start link building to a new site.

I know it will depend on the market and niche and your competition, but i just need an example like medium seo competition and around 200 links per week for the first month with 100+ each following month etc.

I think I know what I will be doing but just want to make sure.

Any help would be great
