Different search results in Google for Firefox and Safari?

Hi all,

I recently checked Google search results for my keyword and lo and behold I am now in top spot! Or so I thought. This was in Safari, but I checked in Firefox and I'm in 5th position.

I am not logged into Google and I have cleared the cache in both browsers. Are search results different in browsers?

Are you logged into a personal google account on one browser ? That will make your website rank higher as your visiting it more.
or check that your not searching a different google country location.

Hi Solado. No, definitely logged out of Google for both browsers and both are showing google.co.uk results...
