Hi guys As a sideline to my normal business im thinking of trying some IM marketing, probably adsense. What i need is the basics of how to start this, i know a fair bit about SEO -my website ranks no1 for my 3 chosen terms, but most of my competitors are amateurs. Ive got Terry's backlinks hydra and i know that has a small bit about IM in it but what else do you guys recommend? Ive got my ideas of my niche, im going to stick with what i know for now ![]() Is there any good threads or offers on here that any of you can recommend? I imagine it is all a bit more difficult now with Panda, and quality raters potentially reviewing a site so any advice you guys can give would be much appreciated. Cheers |

Just keep doing what you're doing for ranking the sites, and the start split testing different banners, ad positions, offers, etc until you find one that sticks.

![]() It's hard to evaluate what your "profitability" will be until you establish what you're not only capable of, but also what it takes for you to do certain things. Just play it by ear at this point - as long as you're making more than you're losing on real costs, technically, you're profitable (if you don't take your time into account, obviously).

Well bofu2u I guess my 'costs' are hard to determine. I need to spend time doing this but I have a job but like anything- you get out what you put in. I know different ad positions can make a difference but what WSO do you know of that give some basic help ? Cheers |
