I am working for a company who needs some onsite SEO work done on their website. They want a litter visually to change as possible. On their home page there is pretty much zero text, just some images and flash. So the home page does not have a <h1> tag... How can I add a header tag to register without making it visible to the viewer, but still good in the eyes of google? I checked out websites such as Skittles and Coca-Cola and of course they have h1 tags which you can easily find in the source-code but the thing is, I dont see them when normally viewing the page. If I search for the word skittle on the skittle page it finds it, but its like its under a layer or something... I know that its against google's policy to use the hidden tag for keywords, or to make text the same color as the background, so what method are they using? |
