Hi, I want to build my first website and monetize it with adsense. However I'm not sure if people really click on those ads. Personally I never pay attention to those ads and never click on them. So do people really notice them and click on them? |

If people would do everything exactly as you do it...the world would be a funny place ![]() Yes people click the ads. What % of them click is proportionated to your content, site structure and ad relevance. Have fun |

Yes they do. I have clinked on them from time to time when looking for something. I've also made money from the clicks. However it does take time to build the amounts up and it depends on how good your keywords are. So search engine placement is pretty important. You will find loads of info about the various aspects of adsense here and free articles in the warrior library. Keren |

People do click on those ads, but niches, searchers etc are all different. Some attact more income from this route than others. In my opinion that is why successful Adsense users fall into two groups. A: The people who have one or very few niches who use Adsense as only a part of their income. Or in other words a passive income stream, but not the main income source. B: The people who use Adsense as their sole or main income. These people tend to cover many, many niches and recieve small but regular amounts from each niche that add up to their main income source. |

Yes they do! I personally click on google ads when it interest me (not on my own ads of course). Your site's design often concerns with the click rate too, so better check out what works for you. Good luck! Ryuchi |

People definitely click on the ads and if you are planning to monetize your website, AdSense can be a great option to choose for earning money from the net but there are some facts to be aware of in this respect. The first thing is about having traffic shares because webmasters who complain about lack of success upon using AdSense are the folks whose websites are not at the top of search engines and their traffic shares compared with competitors are a bit weak. The next thing is about niche in which your domain is operating. Even if your site stands at the top of Google for your primary keywords but the terms are not very popular, even the AdSense will not help you that much as the number of visitors to your homepage might not be that high. Still another issue is how well your site has been developed, the content pages which naturally would contain blocks of ads because information-rich sites tend to do better. |

If the placement of your ads is correct and Google targets it correctly, then yeah - definitely can get some clicks out of it.
