Hello, does forum posting important for SEO or for knowledge sharing.

i found there are many informative thread on forum help us to improve SEO skill...

Forum posting is a good way to earn backlinks but it is not really important as you assumed it is. It is my favorite way of link building though. Besides of building links you can even learn while doing it as you share ideas with others.

Forum posting is also the effective method to get the more results. But the thing with the use of forum posting is to provide the unique and useful content in the post and also to be continuous in the discussion of a point. But forum posting take more time to show the results but those are for the long time.

The 1st priority on forum is to share knowledge and get knowledge.And if you think you are able to utilize it then use it.

The signature link usually helps. If you're helpful to other people in the forum, it most likely will also help with clicks. For example:

If I just wrote a response to this thread that said "Signature links are good" that'd be one thing, and most likely my signature would be ignored. However, the link would still help with search engine rankings.

But now that I've written a half-decent response, the chances of people actually checking out "what I'm into" just went up - and now I will most likely get more clicks out of my signature.

It all depends on your use. For clicks, make sure you're helpful. For just ranking help you can almost get away with any post as long as you're not deleted/it's not deleted.

Getting forum backlinks is really important, but you have to make sure that you don't get backlinks from just any forum. Make sure that the forum has something to do with your niche or website. This will also bring traffic from those forums without relying on the search engines. Ranking high in the search engines should be a bonus to this.

Forum posting is very good, but not easy to post a thread with your link on high quality forum.

In my opinion, forum posting is good for two things; direct traffic and research purposes. The minimal SEO boost is just a bonus in my opinion.
