RSS feed with backlink URLS on own server?

Is it OK to put the RSS feed with the URLs of my backlinks (that are on my published articles on EZA etc) on my own server to ping them, or is it best to load them to another server? I might be imagining things but I believe I read somewhere it is best to put them on a server not related to my money site. Thanks!

Yes, it is probably best to put them on a server with a different IP address than your money site.

These are RSS feeds to your backlinks (bookmarks, etc.) that point your EZAs and other, that link to your Money Site?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the backlink URL's in the RSS feed point to the articles, which in turn have a link to my money site. Can you tell me where I can get some free (or very cheap) server space with a different ip? What do the pros do in these situations? Thanks again!

I have out tasked RSS feeds on fiverr a few times to get a few things indexed. I don't know how long they leave it up though.
