Building first layer of link wheel with web2.0 sites. Curious how many words articles I should have there? dont wanna spend too much since I put paid content on somebody else's site. I'd say 150 words big enough but would like to hear your opinions

Just my 2 cents. If this is along the lines of Squidoo, weebly, wordpress.com, etc. You can start with 150 words but it is probably worth adding some content later to make at least 400 words. There is a reason ezinearticles went to a 400 word minimum. |

Yeah, I figure it would be a good idea to add more words later. I guess more words means more chances to end up in serp

1,500. Make it really in depth. You have a better chance to rank for more long tail with more words on the page.

Frankly, I would put as many words as I could on each page but deal is that I pay about $8 for 400 words (cant use indian writers for linkwheel's first layer) so each created web2.0 property will be quiet costly to me. Thats why i was gonna see what everyone else is using if it can save me some money

I submit 300 to 400 word article in web 2.o sites because there is no need to submit too much word's article they help you to submit short article.

First layer of my link wheels for me is blogs, then web 2.0 sites. So would be something like this: Web 2.0 sites I'll put 200 to 300 words. > Blogs will do better content and put about 500 to 600 words. > Money Sites I'll have 500 to 1000 word articles. |

Sorry everyone but I have a related question that I really need an answer to, If you have a website with 10 pages or so, and you want to increase SERP of these keywords, would you make 10 unique posts on one web 2.0 property (like squidoo), and each post linking to the specified page of your website? I mean are web 2.0 properties OK with having all posts linked to your site? or we need to throw in some unique without a back link post? |

My recommendations is artiles between 500 - 550 words. After panda, 200 words articles google consider as "not good enough" or "spam".
