Google Email Subscription Adword Ads

This is big news for IM; if Google implements on fullscale:

Google Testing New Email Subscription Ad Format | TechCrunch

Adwords ads will now have embedded optin fields. Huge news.

looks like it's only though for those who have gmail/google email addresses though, and isn't in full rollout yet, just being tested. May be a game-changer for optins for at least reaching more gmail users if it's implemented across Adwords.

Saw this myself and was going to post about it, you beat me to it. This would force even more people to have a gmail account and give Google even more data to profile you as you search while being logged into the gmail account. Don't know if anyone else has noticed or not but I definitely get different search results if I'm logged into gmail or not. My own websites show up higher in SERPS because "You shared this."

This is definitely going to be a game changer. Whenever something as radical as this happens a few smart marketers emerge at the top. If someone even if he is new to IM is one of the pioneers, he will become a guru in no time.

I've never used email marketing before but looking at this is really tilting my interest in doing so. Well, that and the fact that I'm making a product that I intend to market more extensively than anything I've ever done before.

I'm thinking that this will probably be a permanent feature. They'd probably like that after the miserable responses they've had to a few of their intended innovations.

Sure enough, the search for marketing with aweber, shows the subscribtion box.

Very cool.

I'm sure that feature would boost Adwords income big time If they allowed everyone to participate in the optin option for Ads.
