This has been happening for a few weeks now, if I log into GA and check out the keywords people are using to find my site, I get a few English search terms and then long list of things such as: استار قاديميه الیاف گرانولی سياسه السودان شقایق زاهدنیا It's always the same language (Persian, I think) and every day I am getting dozens of searches from it. What's up here? |

What is your website about? Google may be just connecting your targeted keywords to users in other languages. The second keyword there means Granular Fibers.

Press release writing and distribution service. Only started showing 2 weeks or so ago, but now this language makes up around 80% of my web traffic each day. I'm a bit worried! |

I think I'd worry too if that was happening to me. Is it a Wordpress site? My first guess is that it is probably a bot or rogue seo company wanting to find random wordpress sites it can join as a user. Make sure your site doesn't allow registration. I don't know who your host is, but can they check to see that your site hasn't been injected with malicious code. I'm also wondering if the bot has injected those search terms into your site somehow. Although off the top of my head I can't think what that would achieve so that's probably a rubbish suggestion! |

Thankfully the site doesn't allow user registration. I can see a lot of the visits coming from Iran. Just a very strange set of circumstances. |

Can you see their ip address(es)? If they are all from the same place or multiple visits from the same place, then ban them 'cos they are almost certainly up to no good. (Do this by logging into cpanel and looking for ip deny manager. Those search terms they used just scream scammers or hackers to me, not legitimate search terms used by random visitors. |

BlueHost were unable to help. Told me I'd need to pay for a company to monitor my site for suspicious usage.

On your analytics or site stats program, look up visited pages. Make sure all of the pages showing up are actually a part of your website. Any strange page names that you did not create, could be pages a hacker put up on your server and are now showing up on google. When people click on your website for these keywords, what page are they being directed to? Your homepage? a variety of pages?
