Track Google Rankings v3.0 Wordpress Plugin

Hi All!

Is there any insight here about what is happening with the Wordpress plugins for tracking Google SERP?

My favorite is "Track Google Rankings v3.0", but it, along with others have lost functionality, starting about ten days ago.

The developer of the above plugin goes by "alexisbest".

Are there any recommendations here in this forum for similar plugins that still work?

The only thing I can add to this is that my other SERP plugins aren't working anymore either.

C'mon! You folks must be having the same issues.

Anyone with some clues?

As I continue my lonely search for answers, I think I have found the answer on a website that once supported SERP info which was used by a wordpress plugin, (websiteranktracker.com):

"The WebsiteRankTracker service is no longer available. Changes in the Google API policies and rates have made it impractical to continue offering service."

A lot of SERP tracker software was using Yahoo Explorer .. Now that does not exists.. they have lost their data source..
Yes this is a problem for those seeking a FREE alternative

Yes, I am looking for free options, as they were already working so well, until now.

Wait, why would Yahoo Explorer not existing have anything to do with SERP Tracking?

It's most likely just that the template changed and the plugin doesn't know how to account for it.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I am just leaving the two or three different SERP tracking plugins there, hoping for an update. It's been a month now, and since "it" affected all of them, I'm thinking the technical issue must be a toughee to overcome.

Yahoo Explorer has nothing to do with tracking the SERPs. YE was for backlinks.

Worpress plugin is a great source to do SEO for website. There are some good plugins like that auto tager , wp syndicator ,wp Super cache these plugins help you to get high ranking in Goolge.
