How the hell do fiverr people get you 500 likes so quickly?

I do not really use fiverr to make money online, but I wanted to test something, so I created a fb page that was related to seo in general.

The gig offered 500 likes guaranteed and it mentioned that it's not software or anything like that :P

I ordered it yesterday and now I have 504 likes... Any explanations?#

i have used fiverr before for this kind of service and they are mostly fake accounts that only promote facebook likes on their wall,so not sure if that's what it is

Anyway it is very possible. And will be a good idea to ask the seller for more information. Matter a fact if you go to the best sites like fiverr and ask for more information you'll be amazed about the answers.

There are many ways to accomplish that.

- You can use exchange services websites (there are million of those today).
- Some use software (bots). These ones are faked likes.
- some of them cheat the exchanges websites to get points in illegal ways to get likes.

Of what purpose are likes anyway? I don't see how they make you any money. Especially fake likes, which these most definitely are. No way they can be real people.

Probably some kid sitting behind a computer with an excel sheet and a lot of logging in and out of different accounts, stay away from these fake likes they are of no benefit to your fan page whatsoever, you will get the required amount then they will begin to drop off as facebook identifies the accounts to be fake. Stick with the real promotions on fan pages at least you can be sure you will attain quality of quantity.

Offers with 500 likes or followers are most fakes they will you not bring any money. Its better to have just small likes but natural builded. If you have a great service the natural building will increase quickly.

I am or rather was under the impression that these freelancers create thousands of email addresses and then get registered with Facebook in those addresses, add some thing to the profiles and start with liking a link! I have tried searching for a software that could help me with it, but couldn't locate one.. Has any one used a software for this purpose??

Though I have never used this service but I have heard that for doing this you have to make them an admin of your page.. Is that correct and safe??

likes exchange is a pretty good answer, but there are some other ways!! there are some pages that gives twitter followers and facebook likes if you do some works! maybe thats what the seller does!

In my opinion those Like are from bots and thus does not have any positive value. Even I don't know how they can do it!

I ordered one gig for Twitter followers. At first they all looked like REAL good followers, very popular people. Then I looked a little deeper. They all had about 20 tweets. The person selling the gig had created Fake accounts that used profiles of real people including their pictures!

You can always tell fake facebook account because they usually have a chick dressed in nothing as a profile pic with no wall post or any other info.

Fake accounts do no good to anyone since us as marketers want to use the them for the viral effect.

Sad part is those people make a killing selling fake/bot likes on fiverr.

I tested the "facebook like" gig on Fiverr. Got the hits alright and the bonus was to promote my link to their +80 thousand twitter followers. they sent me a link to check the post. Probably +79.99 thousand were fake accounts too.

Yeah, the Google +1 sellers are all over fiverr now. Ranging from a few dozen to hundreds. I'm pretty wary of these though... even if they claim to be "natural" or "organic", my guess is Google is on high alert for anything that looks otherwise, even if it's just a strange frequency jump.

Definitely a Like Exchange place. There was a warrior on here who gave away a free WSO on it. All it was was a script that you run using FireFox. The script made all of the clicking and accepting on the Like Exchange site all automated.

It's still on here somewhere, I dug it up a couple months ago but I forgot who it was.

Yep I've ordered it before. All the fans are fake - there's no interaction by them. If you actually click on it, majority of my new fans are hot chicks from Miami with 10 friends...now we know that's not possible

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. It's more of a curiosity thing...I don't think I would ever see a benefit in getting fake likes.

More importantly, though, make sure you have a real following of "likes" before you blast your account with them. Your credibility will be tarnished if you're not providing value via Facebook with content, links, etc. People notice these types of things and you'll be flagged in their mind.

Getting likes is INCREDIBLY easy. There are 2 ways:

1) Create a fan page and write great content inside until you get 50k fans. Then you can advertise the desired facebook page and just tell the people to like it (not exactly "Please like it".. something similar)

2) Make "unreal" facebook users like the page.. I had this problem. About 2 years ago I bought something similar and gave $50 for 10,000 quick likes... Once I paid the person, he added me the likes.. But!!! The people were not real... I can't explain you why?!? Just when I post something NOBODY exactly comments or likes it.. From 10,000 people ?!?

So before mark the offer as completed DOUBLE CHECK that the people are REAL.

All it is is cheap social proof. The point isn't generating sales from those likes but increasing the odds that other people will take you more seriously and consequently create sales.

Social proof helps in a lot of cases and just as importantly a lack of social proof can scare people off.

This interests me because I recently started a new band and subsequently created the Facebook page (most bands use Facebook these days due to the reach), and I only have about 50 likes. It's a bit sad but I admit that I would be less likely to give a band with only 50 fans a listen compared to a band with 550 fans; so in some instances it definitely has its value.

They generally use networks where people are given a point for each like and once the points reach a certain limit, it can be redeemed for cash and goodies. Most of them are fake profiles created for the sake of it.

This is not a recommended strategy. Becasue, Facebook can track where your likes are coming from (check page insights for your page and you will see the sources of 'likes"). But there has been no definitive action from Facebook so far. So its a risk, if facebook decides to take action, you will be in trouble.

The reason that band would have 550 fans is because people like them..

I think anyone and everyone using FAKE Facebook fans, likes, comments, +1's, tweets, or anything else should be banned permanently.

If you want to be REAL, then get REAL people to your pages, get REAL people to see what you have to offer and let them decide on their own..

Otherwise we're going to have a ton of companies that are useless, but seem wonderful.

If that's true than why do I get fans to my Facebook pages that start out at 0 at the same rate as my page that has 50,000+ fans?
