Image or Text adds what's best choice for Tutorial website

my site is on Photoshop Tutorials please suggest me should i go for image adds or text add or both

Text ads will normally give you your highest CPC earnings but there has been occasions in the past where I have had a images out earn my text ads. It's always a good idea to create separate blocks for your ads then you can see what's earning the best revenue.

If you are unable to decide what to do... You can perform A/B split testing. It will give you a fair idea whether to incorporate image ads or text ads.

You can't say for sure without testing but Image & text ads together seems to be working the best for me.

it really depends on the ads I think. If you are talking about AdSense, then yes.. I'd say go for text ads. If you are promoting relevant CPA's, go for images..

I took a look at your site and I would suggest that you put two adds side by side, one an image the other a text.

and....of course split testing works too.

Test it for yourself, that's the only way to really know, as with many questions in IM! I've seen opinions going both ways on this.

I don't have any sites in this niche but I would say just test for yourself, I usually start with text ads on all sites and then after a month try adding image and text ads to see if it raises RPM.

Sometimes I find even if the image ads don't perform as well as the text ads your overall RPM might go up just because there are more ads competing for spaces on your page
