Now that I'm full throttle on investing my time and efforts into IM, I don't quite know what domain I should choose for my Amazon review site. I assume that I would have to choose a specific category in Amazon such as 'Technology' but is that the most efficient way? Inevitably, I would want to branch out and diverse my reviews so sticking with one topic isn't really what I want but then again, I imagine that choosing one topic is more efficent ( as I mention before) as the website keyword would appear in search engine more often ( Ex; technologyreview.com ) |

I would recommend narrowing it quite a bit from the broad technology review domain. That's VERY BROAD. Not sure if you're want to do a huge authority site or a more niche specific site. My experience has been that the more narrow your domain the better. For instance, instead of technologreview.com you could do threeleggedremotecontrolreviews.com or something like that. Just my $.02! |

I do know its broad, in fact, I just came up with that on top of my head and technology isn't exactly what I'm going to do it on but I heard people doing Amazon review site which makes me think are they only focus on one specific niche?

People do what you think they're doing, except they do it for niches IN NICHES. Get it? There's sub-niches for the technology niche. Say, mobile phones |

you want to have a specific keyword rich domain. That is ultimately the best way to go.

Start from a more specific niche would be a good choice for starter, for example, if you are interested in technology, try iPad3review.com. Narrower niche would be easier to rank, if I'm not wrong, good beginning is very important to IM starters.
