Best places in blog to put google adsense???

hello to all, i just want to know where can i put my ads in my website legally but with high percentage for it to be clicked...

I usually put my adsense ads at the top of my page and at the right side of the page so the visitors can easily see it..

I have had the most success with a simple clean theme and an ad box floating to the left of the test right at the top of the screen. This will be the position that gets clicked the most.

At the bottom of the content I have a small ad box giving anyone who reads through the whole article a link to click on.

Overall, the best advice I would have would be to keep it simple to start and then test different things to see if you get any improvement.

Common wisdom suggests placing adverts within text, or at the end of an article, can be amongst the most successful approaches.

Stands to reason really - put large adverts in visible places, or in locations a reader will naturally 'end up'.

And OP should also remember that don't make your AdSense ads labeled as "ads" when visitors first saw them, try to make them blend with your blog theme well.

Why don't you use heatmap... It will give you a fair idea of best ad placement on your webpages.

You really have to test it out...I have one of those banner image (160x600) ads on the left side of my site, and that one gets clicked the most; prior to that it was on the right side, and it was getting clicked, but not as much; then i also had just a text banner ad on the left, and it also wasn't getting clicked as much, so i replaced it with the the image banner only and that one has gotten the most clicks, even though i was reluctant to use it.

I also put a text ad (468x60) like after the 4th or 5th paragraph, and those seem to do well; before I had it in the end of the post, and they barely got clicked. Finally, i have the text links on the top and those do well.

Matter of fact, take a look at Patt Flynn's security guard site that he did for his passive income blog for adsense and that's the structure I modeled my site after. Except that he has a text ad at the bottom and on my blog, so i removed it. But i use the 468x60 ad after 4 paragraphs or so and then have that wrapping ad in the article and those do well too. Also, i have the image banner on the left whereas the security site does not use it, but like i said, it all about testing what works best for your site.

Also, if you're on a budget like I'm, then go to this site and sign up to use their heatmap tracking for free. You can only do one page for free, so take your most visited page, let it run on the heatmap, and then you get to see how your visitors click on your site. That's what helped me the most to figure out where to put the ads. And yea, you can sign up on other sites for something similar that lets you track several pages, but then you gotta pay serious money; i just let the heatmap run for 3 days with one page; then i changed the format, uploaded the test again, let it run for 3 days, and repeat til i thought i had the best layout possible for the ads.

You can put Google Adsense ads on the sidebar, leaderboard or on the footer itself. But I think most of the publishers are using the sidebar to place their Google Adsense ads.
