I usually just scan the first 15 pages and if my website isn't on any of those continue to SEO until it is. Wondering what everybody else does to check what their website is ranking in the search engines.

Hi Friend, Its very easy to do. Click on the Rank Tracker Module on the left hand side of the window. Then click the "add keyword" button in the bottom left hand corner. Enter your keyword and press the "Add Keywords" button to close the window. Then click the "add URL" button in the upper right hand corner of the window. Then enter your URL, check the box for the keyword you want to use. The click the "add URL" button to close the window and add your URL. Now your URL is added! Message me if you have any other questions, I'll be happy to help. | |

Market Samurai is awful for checking rankings. It is never right and takes a bout a year to run. Rank Tracker from SEO Powersuite is pretty good as is Advanced Web Ranking. Those are my two favorite desktop applications for checking rankings. |

Here where you can check your rankings for free: - Rank Checker from SEO Bokk - Firefox extension - Rank Tracker from SEO Spy Glass suite - SEscount.com - 10 KWs for free - Market Samurai - SECockpit - soon - SERPfox.com - 10 KWs for free - seoandgo.com - I'm not sure I can't remember any other tool that would have free version |

I've been using What Page of Google Am I On? - A Free SEO Tool and Rank Tracker for the last couple of months, it is pretty good most of the time and you can check your ranking for any google site in the world, which is great. Patrick |

| Can Rank Tracker run multiple keywords for multiple sites at once and display them all on the same screen like SEO Book's Rank Checker does? The only thing that kept me from putting a ton of sites/keywords into Rank Tracker was because I was under the impression that you had to begin a different project for each different website.

A great way to do it in the beginning. Once you have a few dozen or even hundred websites, manually checking all those keywords and phrases becomes very time consuming. You should look into alternate methods now before you get too busy. |

I use Market Samurai, all the time. It gives me ranking results that are usually pretty accurate when I compare them to Google, and it saves me from having to scroll through page after page of Google results. It's one of my go-to tools for rank checking.

SERP, short for "Search Engine Results Page", is the listing of results on search engines in relation to a query using one or more keywords that a user has entered. The pages of results that you will see are the SERPs. How can I check my SERP Rank ?? Simple - using the form on the right, simply enter the URL of your website, as well as the keyword(s) that you would like to check your positioning for. |

True, the best tool is "seoserp dot com" it checks your sites ranking in the TOP 1000 in Google although it is not that precise but it is free and gives you a general idea of where your site is ranking.
