Default good keyword but is it commercially viable?

Hello Folks,

New to this but have been reading a bunch and have been using MS + SEO Quake and the GKWT to start searching for "good" keywords (i.e., low competition, good volume and reasonable return CPC). Anyway, I think I found one that MS indicates should be a "golden nugget," but I just don't see how the keyword (which relates to a popular query for some very simple information concerning a tourist destination) would actually cause many people to click on the add to buy something. Obviously, the viable CPC must indicate that there is something that can be sold using that keyword but, if it were me, I would take the information and simply leave the site. I guess I had envisioned a good keyword to be one promoting a particular service or good (e.g., X jogging shoes), which would draw highly relevant ads for prospective buyers.

Is my purely informational keyword worth going for?

Thanks in advance
z

He said "golden nugget", so basically I guess it is not that important.

But I also misunderstood your post a lil bit. What you say about the CPC and the advertisеrs? Are there any? (*you can check at SpyFu) An informative website is always welcome.

Okay then, imagine that you are giving great information about how the fresh mountain air is really healthy - then people would say "That's awesome, I should really plan such a mountain trip next holiday". Then the ad "Mountain Trip Guide" appears on his monitor. Just a crappy example but that's my logic and experience.
