Default What is the difference between YT partner and a member that is allowed to put ads on YT vids

Not to long ago - YT allowed me to monetize my videos. Does this mean I'm a YT partner? I'm thinking not...

I do have over 10,000 views on my videos (about 20 of them) - so I'm not sure if I'm a partner or not.

someone help please...
