Is Squidoo Lens relevant for UK Business?

Hi, I have made a Squidoo lens and generated a link-wheel from it in the way described on their site. It all looks like its going to work well, but I have seen comments saying it may not be effective outside of America. Its a lovely way to increase SEO if it works properly. Any comments please?

Squidoo is a powerful web 2.0 property and it will really help to boast your site rankings but also utilize its comments too. Also, since you are targeting Google UK, create links from co.uk as well.

Squidoo works well both for seo and organic traffic.

I cant see why this would not work for UK traffic Squiddo is deffinatly a good source for links wherever you are

yes Web2.0 properties are a great SEO tool, as long as they are part of an effective overall backlinking strategy. Doing just one type of backlinking only is like saying to Google "I am trying to cheat your algorithm", which they don't like you doing, and will devalue if they can see you do it!

So, make sure your overall backlinking strategy is as natural as possible.

There's a free report on how to get the most benefit from backlinking, on the site in my Sig, so I recommend you reading that, so you really understan the point I am making here, and know how to get around the problem.

Squidoo lenses work great. They often get indexed very quickly and very often rank right away (though not necessarily right on the first page).

To get to the first position, you'll probably need quality links, just as with any kind of site/page.
