If I have an EMD website and I want to target more keywords other than the one in my domain name, can I target any keyword in my niche that is not necessarily related to my main keyword? For example if my main keyword is golf hats, and I have it my domain can I also have an article about golf simulators and target that KW in the same website? This is because I cannot find many KW related to my main KW, and I don't want a website that only targets 1 kw I want to expand. Thank you Ahmed |

Absolutely you can! I do this all the time. Make sure you backlink to that page and your main page, and make sure your permalink shows your new keyword...for example: yourmainkeyword.com/otherkeyword |

This is something I do regularly, it in my opinion is one of the best perks of this strategy, you can test a lot of niches quickly and cheaply and then expand the winners

Sure you can. Always remember Google ranks pages not sites. Your EMD home page is just that - a page. You can rank other pages that are at least in the same ballpark like your Golfing example on that site as new pages. EMD's give you a bump, but it really comes down to doing your research very well first. I.E. competition, buyer or looker kW etc.. Yes you can and I do this all the time. Patrick |

Yes, of course you can. Related keywords that are in the same vertical are definitely OK.

You certainly can do this. I often start niche sites based around one keyword, usually with 5 to 10 articles on it based on that one keyword. If the site shows potential or becomes profitable, I'll start looking into related keywords for it and add more articles based on those new keywords. I also always make sure to update the meta tags on the site to include the new keywords I'm targeting. You can expand a small niche site into a large authority site this way and get it a lot of respect in the search engines if you do it correctly.

Sure you can, but an EMD limits what you can do & would look silly when you have an EMD like: hxxp://best-truck-tires.com/ Then wanted to target a new keyword besides best truck tires. New keyword truck toolbox. hxxp://best-truck-tires.com/truck-toolbox/ That's the reason I don't care for EMDs. I would rather target a wider selection of themed keywords like this: hxxp://truckdepot.com/best-truck-tires/ hxxp://truckdepot.com/truck-toolbox/ |
