Does anyone have a buyers keyword list they have tested and want to share? What I mean is not "niche" words, but words that you can add to niche phrases that will be more targeted. For example: how to learn buy study where can I explain etc. I am looking for a large exhaustive list I can begin testing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

I'm still quite green with "Action" - but from my study it seems you really don't need to much of large list. How to..seems to come out on top for adwords strategy for click throughs. Just thought I'd toss that in. |

For software products, these are the killer keywords at **ALL** times: - Top 10 + Product Type + in Year - Best + Product Type + in Year. These are 'medium' tail keywords and CPC won't be as high as the Kilimanjaro.. Hot Tips: targeting the proper big-G content network adsense sites and you will be making $30+ per sale from a few clicks of $0.20 - $0.35 CPC. Normally, a $10 campaign should be able to make you a 3 digit/per day net profit should your ad description and the POSITION of your ad on those SELECTED adsense sites are tactically significant. Also use tracking down to the individual webpage level (i.e. not just the 1st level URL).... ![]() Good Luck. ebuyer |

I wouldn't consider most of those words "buyers" keywords. Most of them are "information seekers." Information seekers may lead to buyers, but you have to work them differently. They're not ready to buy most of the time and are still shopping around. Buyers keywords for me include, discount, coupon, buy, cheap, low cost |

IMO "buyer" keywords relate directly to keywords used when someone is googling looking to buy something. These aren't really "persuasive" words, like those you'd use in copywriting. "Cheap" is a great example of this. For example, think about these two keyword phrases: viagra cheap viagra Who knows what the person searching for "viagra" is looking for...A recall? General info? But "cheap viagra" is a clear indication that the searcher intends to BUY viagra...Why else would they be concerned about viagra being "cheap"? This doesn't mean ranking #1 for "viagra" isn't profitable...The goal is really to rank for both, and not to forget the "money" keywords. These money words may not get the traffic, but any traffic they get is very valuable. Forget the traditional off-line thinking that using the word "cheap" devalues your offer...The search engines work differently. With a word like "cheap", you can bet the person is shopping for price. This means they will likely visit more than one page and the price is very important to them. You know this because they are telling you this by searching for "cheap". What they type in the box at Google lets you know exactly what they are thinking at that moment (this is called psychographics). If you have SEOed for the word "cheap": If you have Adsense, you will likely get more clicks as these people browse more than one site looking for the best price. If you use Amazon, focus on the lower priced items. Because of the value of these words, work these words into your SEO mix. When you're writing content and articles, quickly go back over them and see if you can't add some money words that will read in a natural way. Here's few more money words I don't think have been posted that show an intent to buy: wholesale rent lease used luxury auction | |

Well some of those keywords could be considered buyer keywords but there are a lot that don't really fit the definition of a buyer keyword. For instance I saw "FREE" on a lot of lists, I mean really if someone is looking for something free do you think they are looking to buy? I know when I look for free stuff I want it free and not a penny more. Free is a good keyword to use with Adsense sites because those visitors are going to a lot of different sites to find the "FREE" so they will most likely click on links. Also beware of adding buy in front of a keyword and thinking it's a buyer keyword. Now some of you may be thinking this guy is dead wrong. Well let me explain, buy indeed is considered a buyer keyword but it's not a 100% buyer keyword. Let me give you an example: Buy digital camera - A buyer keyword but the person is not 100% ready to buy. Why? Because the person still has to choose what brand of digital camera, the model of the brand, the features they want and so on. So when you are looking for buyer keywords you want a 100% buyer keyword. These kind of keywords get less traffic but they are less expensive and they convert way better. One rule of thumb is the longer the keyword the better chance of it being a 100% buyer keyword. So let's make Buy Digital Camera into a 100% buyer keyword: Buy Canon Powershot a1100 8.0 megapixel digital camera or just Canon Powershot a1100 8.0 megapixel digital camera So remember that just adding "buy" does not necessarily make it a buyer keyword and on that note you don't always have to have "buy" to make it a buyer keyword. A good rule of thumb while creating your buyer keywords is to ask the question, "Is the person almost ready to buy or ready to buy?" or in other words does the person have more options to choose from before they make up there mind. |

Instead of trying to find a list of buyer keywords, just use the Google Keyword tool - high advertiser competition means it is a buyer keyword, low advertiser competition means it is not.
