Hi I want to be a internet marketer. I am a super newbie. The only thing I know is that I need a website with profitable niche, but I am confused. Are football (soccer) related topics can be good niche? Any suggestion please. What should be minimum CPC, monthly and global visitors? Thanks |

I will discuss the niche, yes football or any other sport is a very popular niche but can you break it down even father, Try for a niche that has about 300,000 to half a million searches. Search the forums on ways to find a good keyword phrase then try to get that domain, then build. So if it was me I would start searching for football then see what keywords follow that. Then I would find a keyword that is not to hard to rank and go from there. Hope that helps but searching the forum is best.

Foot ball is a good niche but the competition is very strong there and since you are a newbie so try to learn and learn first and then take a step.

Hello Faisal, To ascertain whether or not a certain keyword is hard to rank, you would need to examine the competition (competing websites) with an SEO or page rank analysis tool. The resulting data should give you an idea of what current on-page and off-page SEO constructs are active (backlinks, keywords in title page, etc.). Using this data, you can determine the amount of effort that would be required to surpass one or more websites that are ranking in the top page of Google. I hope this helps. Wilton |

Look you will have to go search, there is no way we could tell you everything you needed to know. I will tell you this though. Your domain needs to be centered around your keyword You need a keyword that gets a modest amount of search's a month So you need to research how to find keywords and then you can buy your domain name with those keywords. Only go for .com or .org, if you can't get your keywords then add a number before or after. I do after and it doesnt effect my ratings much when Im climbing. |

Yes football is a very good niche. But you have to be very precise if you want to start very well. Because if you focus only of football that would be awfully hard to rank cause that is a very broad niche.

I have a question, when picking out a keyword in Google AdWord Keyword Tool, match type should always be checked exact with broad being unchecked, correct? I'm also confused about the part of KW competition being high and low. If your KW competition is high (while being long-tailed), why would that matter to you, isn't that for the advertisers? I always thought high KW competition means more biddings of CPC occuring and that the actual KW competition is by Googling that KW and looking up the top 10 sites. |
