Yahoo Directory Submission.

Hi mats,
I have used the free submission form to submit my domain to Yahoo Directory. From what I saw on the site, they get 1000s of applications a day.

Do you get any kind of notice if your site has been accepted or not?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

If you have suggested your site via standard consideration, you might have to wait till eternity. Due to the volume of suggestions, they do not guarantee a timely consideration of your site.

If you have submitted your site in a non commercial category, they should automatically appear in the category that you are interested in.

Yahoo! notifies the applicants by email describing whether the site has been accepted or rejected.

P.S - All Yahoo! offices were closed from December 22, 2011 through January 2nd, 2012 and, as such, they did not process your submissions during that time.

Submitting for free to directories can take up to 3 month to get accepted, that process can be faster, if use paid submission.
