It goes like this: Title: Your Primary Keyword/Phrase: A call-to-action snippet to attract visitors Keep your title within 70 characters. Do not fill this tag using more than 3 keywords. There are many people who use title tag as a spam and they just overdo this important tag. Stay originally with the contents of the page and include keywords accordingly. Good luck |

Title and description tags of your web pages are better to sound original and unique and this matter can affect ranking and indexing status of your website online. While trying to add title tags to your homepage and other internal sections of your site, try writing the main keywords closer to the beginning parts of the tags, this matter can help your rankings gradually also. Descriptions usually need to be written in a way to help readers figure out what contents appear on the pages. If you take a look at websites links stats on Google, you will find title tags of the pages to be clickable sections and one or two text lines appear below them which would be descriptions written by the admins. If descriptions are empty on sites, search engines will attempt to pick a few text lines from within contents on the pages, usually the first one or two lines appearing on pages would be used. |

In making a title tag, the ideal number of characters to be used is ranging from 68-70 characters. In description, 140 to 150 characters will do.

Title tag is one of the most important section of on page SEO. For a particular page of your website you should choose the most useful and strong keywords/keyphrases here, and they must closely match to the subject matter of that particular page of your website. Meta description is also another important issue, as here you can use keywords while writing description and it also come into SERP. So that also need to be a bit eye catchy, so that visitors could realize your site can meet their needs.

1) Make it natural and unique - Analyze your visitors and think what they would like to see - then represent it in around 70 symbols for your title and a short paragraph for your description, so you make them click and read more. 2) Make it SEO friendly - Include your keyword in your title. You can include it twice in your description. A very helpful resource: http://static.googleusercontent.com/...rter-guide.pdf Good luck |
