Default Is it Worth Outsourcing Link Building?

I must say I had better luck with the warriors to hire. Everytime I hire outsources they never really improve my serps and they are low competitive keywords. I always go with someone with a lot of work time and great feedback. I hired some great people on this forum! What do you guys/gals think?

Thanks

It really depends on the time and money you have to throw down. I outsource some of my link building and I do a lot of it my self so that it gets done the way I want it. If you have a lot of sites or other projects in the works that prevent you from having the time to build links then I would encourage you to outsource as long as you find someone that knows what there doing and can follow your instructions.

Well it depends on what are your instructions and how clear are your terms. For example if you just ask for X numper of links you should be really lucky to find a good freelancer. On the other hand if you are clear with your instructions and you really know what are quality links that will not only impove your rankings on search engines but you will get traffic too, you don't even need a link building ":expert" you just need a honest hard working freelancer who can follow your instructions.

Now if you don't know how you to get quality links and what instructions to give, you just need a SEO expert who will make a plan for your SEO campaign and will tell you exactly what you should ask from your freelancer (if you don't wan't to pay him for doing that)...

If you break down the steps into completely explicit sub-steps, then you can get 100% what you want when you outsource, and very cheaply. But of course, that's going to take some time and effort yourself! Often it's cheaper and easier to outsource the whole job to someone else who does a good job (see my Sig for social bookmarking!!).

I used to outsource SEO, but now I'm building all my links myself. The only thing I outsource is content writing.

I let other people write content for my sites, but also I leave the content creation process for my backlinks to them. This way I get a lot of unique high-quality relevant content I use to create backlinks to my sites.

I've tried a service called Slaptastic Link Building and saw great results with it (first page rankings for a few keywords). They use a 3 week backlink building plan that looks pretty solid.

I would stick to services that guarantee their work. Lot's of services promise the world but when it comes down to results you're left with less money in your pocket and no change in the SERPS. Find a service that guarantees you results or offers your money back and you'll find that they usually know what their talking about. Also ensure they have good feedback...

"TAKE ACTION" is the first thing everyone tells you and then they leave it at that. I'll add a second part: TRACK EVERYTHING" - It's the only way to ensure your ACTION leads to results.

It may not be just the matter of outsourcing link building because quality and not the quantity of the links would be significant in here. Sometimes when you manage to get one link from within contents of a blog, it could help your web rank reaching the front page of Google. Instead of looking at advertisements which talk about hundreds or thousands of links which are offered by freelances and other webmasters, try figuring out which links types would benefit your site the most.

If you are willing to spend money to buy links, make sure you purchase the votes which come from relevant sources, contain your primary keywords and the ones that remain on the internet for a long time. As you may know, even the links ages are today playing big roles online and if you are seriously looking for buying links, just make sure they come from authority spots which remain active and accessible online for months and years as this is very important.

Let me just say this. In the past I have built my own links using almost every technique available.

I absolutely hated every bit of it. It was boring, tedious, meticulous, and doing it properly takes time, content and money.

Now I build natural links via content that I believe has real value.

Additionally, I am currently in the process of testing out a private network to see how things pan out.

If this works (initial results look promising) then I will be outsourcing all of my link building (both mine and my clients) to private firms who know what they are doing.

In most cases, off-page SEO is too expensive in terms of time to do it yourself. Most people don't realise this and simply assume it can be automated in some way....some of it can...some of it can't.

I built my back links for quit awhile then I found out that you can outsource the boring task.

I tried outsourcing back linking on oDesk, Fivrr, and here on the WF. My best results have been outsourcing here.

Hiring someone else to do it is much better than doing it yourself. Link building is boaring to say the least.

The most important to factor to consider when outsourcing your link building and/or content creation tasks is to find a company that measures in ROI rather than hours. DM me if you want - I have contacts and info about this, but I don't wanna shamelessly plug via forum post.

Just keep in mind that anyone who promises a page-one ranking in a certain amount of time (for any keyword) is more than likely full of sh*t. It takes hard and GOOD work to see the kind of results you want - not a magic formula.

Good luck!

You said that you've had great luck hiring people from here... I'd say stick with what works! LOL The biggest mistake a business owner can make, IMO, is to change what works to what is cheaper. Many people try and do things themselves to "save money," yet end up losing a lot more in the long run.

Fiverr has been pretty good with a handful of gigs. In the future, I really see myself hiring Warriors though.

Yea you need to be very careful with this. I've had a few shockers outsourcing as well to Odesk etc. Next time I would stick with Warriors as well, but at the moment I am doing all my link work, because I have a pretty good system in place which allows me to do this.
