Comment on blog pages with page rank. Make a good post and make sure whatever link you try to leave isn't offensive. Do this right and you can get PR in no time.

Actually website traffic is very important for any online business, to get traffic you have to go through few technique. First of all design your site with professional touch and friendly. Submit your site to google, yahoo and dmoz. This takes around 3 months to crawl and get listed in moderate keywords. Do not use popular keywords because there is too competition for high traffic. Submit your site to lots of Small search engine and directory. Now after this you do not have to work more on search engine and directory. Now the work is on link building & How to raise your PR (Page rank)? |

Open up firefox as your browser and go to google. Look up the SEO Quake in google and download it. Once you've done that, go back to google and type in "your niche:Blogs". Seo quake will tell you the PR of each of the blogs and will also let you know which ones are do-follow. Find some that have a PR of 3 or higher (depending on what your PR is) and get some comments on them with link pointing back to your site. Many times you'll have a tough time getting your keyword in anchor text on blog comments, but if you take the time to contact the blog owner first and ask them if they mind as long as you will be a regular commenter, many times they will let you. |

and, it's very simple... get backlinks from pages that have PR themselves, the fewer links on those pages the better, the higher the PR of those pages the better. Backlinks from pages that 0 or n/a PR aren't going to do much for your PR. | |

| Get links from sites that already have PR. PR0 links will take a while to raise your own site's PR, so what you can do is point them at Web 2.0 properties or EZA articles, both of which seem to attract PR a lot faster from low-value links. Make sure these pages link back to your site. By low-value, I don't mean super-low-value, like xrumer-style links. I've found that because so many links posted by xrumer get removed, Google discounts most of the blast and your PR is usually not increased. The only benefit in most cases is that the backlink count will scare the hell out of potential competitors who don't know how you did it. In any case, it can work well if you use high-quality, contexual links EARLY; that is, before doing an xrumer blast. That is really the secret of a good SEO campaign: good links early on. I've heard that 19 links from pages with similar PR will give you the same. I think it's a bit more complicated, though. PS: don't get too caught up in the race for PR unless you're trying to prove someting. You can rank #1 on the first page with a PR0 site, above nine PR4/5 pages. |

I have 40+ domains and I run them on auto so I hardly even see what their Page Rank is. Because of this I let lapse a PR3 site not knowing it's PR... ![]() Is there any software, free or paid, that can take a list of my sites and show their PR? |

dear all, i was wondering if any one here has a step by step guide to increasing page rank of a website? I recently built a site and got 2 links (just 2 links) from a PR 9 website and within 6 months, the PR of the website went from 0 - 5! I was wondering if this has been experienced by anyone else? |

Pretty simple. Higher PR backlinks will boost your own PR quicker than the same # of lower PR backlinks. Not too surprised in your jump from PR0-PR5 if the links were DoFollow. PR9 backlinks are hard enough to find even if they're NoFollow. |

Comments, comments, comments When Josh and I were sitting down and hashing out ideas for the site, one point I made repeatedly over and over is that Josh had to take initiative and comment on other blogs. Simply put, you cannot blog on an island (figuratively) if you want to have success. A huge misconception with blogging is that it is a solo activity, where the blogger just pumps out content isolated from the outside world. Nothing could be further from the truth. Blogging is really about building a community with your readers and fellow bloggers. Commenting is thus a great way to build backlinks, expose your brand, and connect with other bloggers. I could easily devote a whole post to this topic, but Brett Borders already wrote a fantastic guide on creating a solid online presence by commenting. Commenting is a big reason we have over 3,000 links pointed to the Sports Fan 4 domain as of this post. Twitter, twitter, twitter We set Josh up with a Twitter account on May 15 and he immediately began using it to connect with other sports fans. The key here is we setup a strategy for Josh to connect and communicate via Twitter. Promoting posts was a secondary aim. It’s been a great strategy so far as Twitter has delivered traffic, guest writers and backlinks to his site. When you approach Twitter with the goal of communicating with others, the promotion will happen organically. We also installed a Twitter widget which kept fresh content flowing to the homepage. Thesis Theme Out of the box, Thesis theme is relatively well tuned for SEO. We tweaked it and tweaked it until we were comfortable that it was very finely tuned. Here’s a great SEO tutorial for Thesis theme. Also check out our guide to showing all posts in a category on one page. The quick tips I’ll give are to show only titles outside the homepage and to enable teasers on the homepage. Also, show excerpts on the homepage. These three tweaks will keep duplicate content penalties to a minimum. Unique content A big boost to Sports Fan 4 came when we progressed from writing game wrap ups to producing unique content not commonly found on other sports blogs. I wrote a post about Five Life Lessons From “He Hate Me”, Josh wrote a post on How to Spot Steroid Users and began producing player profiles, while Matt published a list of things to do when the Sox game is rained out. For the most part, these posts were content you could not find elsewhere and we all know that Google loves unique content. Not only does Google love it, but other bloggers and readers do too. These were some of our most highly trafficked and linked to posts on the site. Our Network A tip that really only applies to some of our audience. At The 42nd Estate we have a network of sites and on all those sites we post links back to our other sites. It makes sense since all the sites are part of The 42nd Estate’s network. Most of these sites have Page Ranks of 3 or 4, which gave Sports Fan 4 quality links right from the start. In other words, utilize your existing sites when launching new sites. As you can see, there were no black hat (nor grey hat) SEO methods used here. Neither were any of them complicated or tough to initialize. Having said that, there was a lot of time spent in producing solid, unique content, reading and commenting on hundreds of blogs, connecting with over 1,000 people on Twitter. It required time and energy, but luckily those are the only two real costs to our strategy. That means you too can implement these tips and watch your Page Rank soar! |

Use lots of meta keyword tags. Use it WITH Commas. Make sure you don't repeat the same word more than 3 times in a row. Google only indexes the first 101K of the document - so don't use TOO many.

The best and more effective way to get PR is to get links from sites that have higher PR than your site. I surmise the links you are getting are PR 0 or nofollow links which nofollow links will help with serps, but will not pass the link juice or the Page Rank. Look at this was one PR 6 link back to your site with minimum OBL's will probably help you jump to PR 4, one PR 8 link will probably help you site to PR 6 with minimum OBL's, this is just a reference point, and not to be considered factual, but I have done it myself.

For article directory websites, be more strict to post contents will be helpful to get better PageRank, via that way you can maximally make sure you'll get more inbound links than outbound lonks.

The more backlinks you build from high PR websites the higher your own PR will be. You either build tons of backlinks from low PR sites or a few from high PR sites. Also, for example a blacklink from site that already contains 100 outbound links will be worth much less than a backlink from a site with only 10 outbound links. Here is the exact algorithm to calculate PR: PageRank - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

| First you need to know is that pr is not depend on the backlinks only. But there are many more factors that affect the pagerank like the content ,time spending of the visitor to the site and action they performed. So for getting the high ranking for your site ,provide the unique and useful content on your site and in your submission, then try to get the quality backlinks ,and try to keep your visitor engage with your site in the way get the higher conversion rate and to decrease the bounce rate. So management of all these things be helpful for you to get the rank.

I got my PR3 in one month. The only reason behind that I can understand is that it was because my site's bounce rate was quite lower. I haven't got too many backlinks to my site.
