My google adsense numbers are not adding up. As of right now, I have 20 clicks but when I check Statcounter in the "exit links" section (shows what links visitors clicked to leave site) I'm seeing 60 plus clicks for my ads. I'm using plugins to insert my adsense codes; not direct coding. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is there some type of glitch in using plugins for adsense that Im unaware of? Please give me some feedback.. Thanks.. |

You should read this post. It's kind of long but this could be a reason. Read post here. |

I will sum it up for you, the poster of that thread suggests that it is possible for hackers to insert their own Adsense code into someone else's advertisements, I think that he is absolutely right if you are using a nulled or pirated WP theme.

Yes, this happens to me all the time. I would go crazy if I spent much time thinking about it. I have asked and I get nothing but double talk from Google. Not a hell of a lot I think we can do about it. Google will pay us what ever they decide, and no one is big enough to make them do different.

I've had this too. Sometimes the clicks will appear, and then the next day they will just take some away. I don't get it.

I hope that was it..I just deactivated that plugin and spent the last hour putting ads in manually.. I was showing well over a hundred clicks and google only picked up like 21 |

I can't help you with this question, but thank you for helping me find out about Statcounter. I checked it out and it is a great tool for several analytics I had wished I had access to and now can monitor.
