I am looking to integrate adsense account with my Google Analytic account. I have my adsense account with one gmail (gmail 1) and GA is on a different gmail.(gmail 2) Questions 1) Can I link these two together? If yes, how do you do it 2) If no, then I need to use the adsense gmail (gmail 1) to track google traffic which means I need to create an account over there. What happen to those Google Analytic data with the existing gmail (gmail 2)? Will it be lost? 3) What are the cons of this integration? Love to hear from your view. Thank you Aaron |

Yes, you can do that. But I do not think it is a good idea. You would give Google all the data. It is usually better if you do not give out everything. |

I don't think it is a particularly bad thing to track with Google Analytics unless you are using an automated tool like WP robot or WP Direct to feed your blogs. There are also some other analytics tools you can use too. Woopra is one that I use and like very much. The free version is just fine. Good luck, Adrienne |

I fully agree with hpgoodboy. Integrating AdSense with Analytics is risky at best, if you site is designed specifically for AdSense it can be practically suicidal. Google like sites that have a high visitor retention rate. With AdSense you are encouraging users to leave your site, which lowers your retention rate. Google can get this data from Analytics and can penalize the site for the low retention rate. To avoid this and still get analytic site data many AdSense marketers choose an alternate service like Clicky Web Analytics in Real Time | Clicky As this is not a Google product the data is not shared with them.
