If there is a small niche, on a long tail keyword and I have something new then it's good, but if i'm into a big niche then it's futile, as far for search engines, but maybe it's still good for bring visitors to my site?
How much should i put money and effort for articles?

Yes as far as I know article distribution is still effective. I use it on the niche sites I create and it turns out great. Just remember all sites take time to rank and also depends how much competition you have in SEO and quality of site and content.

For your second question to build a web 2.0 is to make a post on other 2.0 sites like wordpress, blogger, squidoo, hubpages and then put links in those articles directing back to your site.

A great SEO method is to build 2.0 and then use a software to build links to these web 2.0 sites and it gives your money site more link value for SEO.

I think article distribution is very important to any website or blog promotion. As long as the articles are topical and well written.
It is not only the link value but article re-direction which is still very high value.

I have many Adsense sites that most traffic comes via articles.

I still believe they do hold their on respect. Most of my traffic comes from articles like ezine and squidoo however my conversions generally come from google. Articles are great for people researching, I dont put any selling material in an article, just facts and figures.

I disagree... submitting your articles to third party websites in hopes that they will bring you more traffic (or links) is rather short sighted. It is much more effective to host your content on your own website, retain the value and rights of your content, and promote the articles within or through social media.
