Question regarding Wordpress Theme.

Someone told me that if i am using a free theme of wordpress on my website then CSS Directories will not accept them while submission. Is that true?

That is not possible, I never heard about this before.

That may be because usually free themes don't have valid CSS or there too many CSS errors. But I am just guessing. Not sure.
