I just bought a domain with a .org extension. The .com was a premium listing that some dude was charging over $1000 for. Not worth it. But wouldn't you think that if he was going to play that game that he would at least eliminate the .net and .org options by buying them up??? Of course it's possible that the .org became free afterwards outside of his knowledge. Man it kinda annoys me when people buy up domains and just waste em with "premium listings". |

I have a huge arsenal of .com domain names and I rarely buy other extensions. My buyers lookout for .COM's, not .org's.... But it's good to know at least once I am considered a douche bag. |

I dont see how this person is a douche bag haha. Investing in domains is a well known way to make some good cash. People buy .com because its what everyone wants the most. Most large sites you will find use the .com not .org
