Does Backlinks on signature counts to increase my webpage PR? I also heard that pinging your backlinks is a good way to get your link indexed and get link juice to your website. So, should I ping my backlinks on on my every post that have forum signatures?? I am using linklicious(dot)me to ping my backlinks. The free version only let you to ping 2,500 links per day. Basic i think is around 5,000 per day and Pro is even more. Once a backlink is indexed by Google, you don't have to ping it again right? But, how can a person have so many backlinks in a day? Spam blog comments? Spam forum post? Spam article posting? sorry I'm confuse about all this pinging and backlinking stuff. So here are my questions once again 1. Does Backlink on Forum Signature helps to increase my Blog PR? 2. Do I need to ping every link on every post I made on a forum (I heard from linklicious that forum signature backlinks are consider as weak backlinks, most of the time it won't be indexed and will waste all your effort building it,so you need to ping it to get it indexed. 3.How can a person have so many backlinks in just a day? |

Forum links are actually a great way to get links. If you are a frequent poster on a forum of your niche then adding a link to your forum link can get you loads of links with no extra work. Having a link in your signature can help your sites a lot. Most forums get crawled frequently so your links will get picked up without having to ping them.

| In short: Signature links in Forums consider as backlinks. But personally I think links aren't for any kind of optimization – they are for advertisement of your website. However, most of the people consider forums for only backlinks and that's the reason we always see spam posts in forums. |

You should only ping when you have new content and also not too often. I would suggest no more than once or twice per week. Once your links/content have been indexed you do not need to re-ping them. If you have too many new links per day you will eventually get penalized by google. Keep the number of new links reasonable. There is no way a real person can manually create 1000 new links in one day even when socially bookmarking content it would be very unlikely. Stick to something sensible no more than 50 per day and ideally less. Also mix up your anchor text a bit. |

Good advice here - you could also consider starting an interesting thread and contributing rich content to it - write a tutorial/walkthrough/FAQ relevant to both your website and the forum topic. If the forum URLs are SEO-friendly, you can try to optimize and have that page rank for longtails relevant to your main keyword. If you get a good conversation going, the content will keep piling up, making both readers and Google happy. If you're an expert in your field, or at least knowledgeable enough to manage the thread and get good contributions, you will soon see multiple benefits - visits to the site in your signature (must be relevant to the topic), PR juice and even some silly autoblog scraping the thread and republishing in a different format, hopefully with your links intact - just my 2c....

Guys, let's not forget the fact that you will likely get quite a few click throughs and sales via your signature link from directly within the forum(s). I have had quite a number of sales like that. Simply contribute and the rest will follow.

No disrespect but your two cents, read by the number of newbies that come here daily, has just contributed to a boatload of crap being posted here. Still, nice to see so many people being honest and open and being so frank that this forum has no use other than to increase rankings and to help themselves. | |||

Forum backlinks are really useful for your website, because you will get targeted traffic from there. You just keep posting there, but always remember that your posts should give value.

If it is a high traffic site it's still worth doing purely for the traffic you might get. there are mixed opinions that google prefers to see a mix of do and no follow links as this is more natural than 100% all one type. |

Yea they do, but as far as I know they get diluted pretty fast. When I say that I mean, if you have 500 links all from the Warrior forum, they won't be worth the same as 500 links from 500 different websites.
