"Authority" Niche Site Question

Hello WF

I am planning to build a "authority" site in niche which around 5-6 other marketers know about.

I want to ask if i should use static page or a dynamic homepage? For dynamic page i will have all my recent post showed with an excerpt. I am more focused on building links to inner pages and ranking theme.

Also does adsense payout depend on from which country was the ad clicked from? Because most searches are outside of local (USA)

I prefer Wordpress, but it is a matter of opinion for the most part. Do you have any WP experience?

Ya years of experience in WP and i think i will go with Studiopress Education theme.
Can anybody clear this for me. Does it make a difference if someone other then usa click on my ad? Because most traffic i will get will come outside of usa
