I made a mistake. Live and learn!

For about 2 weeks now I have seen absolutely no traffic on my website in Google Analytics. After reading an article I found out you have to have a tracking code on each page! No wonder I'm not seeing anything.

Ahh, what a learning process... Just thought Id share. Has anyone else done this haha.

Also, while I'm here, my site is in WordPress. Does Google Analytics need to be pointed towards www.mysite.com or mysite.com ?? the www one has all the traffic, but that was from advertising it and now it gets none. Should I focus on the non-www in Analytics? Everything from the www is redirected to the non-www anyway.

It's better than you have the WWW included in your Google Analytics. With or w/o WWW, it's still the same thing. Good thing that you have learned your lesson, and correct your mistake about it. Don't give up.

redirect http://site.com to http://www.site.com or vice versa.

If your using WordPress there are lots of plugins which look after inserting your UA code.
