I'm planning to build another niche site for earning $$$. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to monetize it through adsense or clickbank. I have searched for 2 keywords, both are available as EMD. I'm not gonna tell you the exact keyword, but I'm going to replace it with acne, so you could have a better clue.. 1) How to remove acne 14,800 EXACT LOCAL MATCHES / CPC 1.37$ 2) Acne removal 8,100 EXACT LOCAL MATCHES / CPC 0.77$ They both have pretty low competition, so I'm more than sure I will able to get in top 3 in few weeks.. I think most of you will go for the first keyword, but I was thinking if I'm going to sell clickbank product, then the second keyword would be better.. or what you think? Tho, maybe I will monetize it with adsense... |

Why do you assume the second keyword is better for a CB product? The keywords are very similar, so surely you would go for the first one. |

Agree with UMS. I would go with the first one as the primary KW but also optimise the same site for the second KW as well. The fact that you don't have the EMD is not a problem as they are so closely related.

Where did you get that CPC figure? in the contextual tool for Google adwords tool? if its just the CPC that appears by the kws generated by the standard google kw tool, that number is NOT accurate it should be the contextual tool |

You can always split test, which one works best (brings more $$$) adsense or clickbank.

What ever word came back the easiest to rank for i would make that my home page main keyword. In case of a tie, generally a long tailed keyword is easier to rank for so i would start with the longest. I agree with either would be ok for a ck product. the keyword will bring up your site in a search, and your title tags and excerps will bring in the curios searcher. arnold55 mike reynolds | |
