Hello, I created a niche website 2 months ago (mid November) focusing on a 3 word keyphrase. Right around Christmas, my site was ranking at number one on Google. However, as of Monday, the site had moved to position 9. Then, yesterday night the site moved to position one for roughly 2 hours and is now back at position 9. Why would this be happening? Is it the so called "google dance"? Thanks |

Could be the dance. Could be that you got the artifical boost that new sites apparently get. Could be a location or datacenter thing. I would not worry about it too much now if it has only been since alst night. keep an eye on it and hopefully it will come back up before too long.
