I want my writer to be able to make posts on my behalf, but I don't want them to be able to have access to my whole wp-admin section; just the posts/pages sections. Kind of like how BMR lets you create a separate writer login. Is this possible?

Here you go: Roles and Capabilities « WordPress Codex Basically, in your wp-admin area, click on "Users" on the menu on the left, and set up an account for an "Author". |

Creating an author account will usually do the trick in these situations, but if you need to make more permission tweaks try one of these plugins: WordPress › Role Scoper « WordPress Plugins WordPress › User Role Editor « WordPress Plugins |
