Keyword Density is how many times in your article your keyword come up, for example if you have 600 words article, how many times you put keyword in this article is keyword density 1-2% is the way to go, don't go over 3% since Google is very sensitive about this and if your over optimise your website it will look like spam.

The number of times your keyword appears in the article.. it is usually around 2-4%... Make sure your content doesn't get flooded with keywords.... coz google is really really serious about it and can consider it as a SPAM
