New Google Update the last 2 days ?

Hi !

I think some Google update has happened the last 48 hours. MANY MANY changes, good and bad, happened in all my websites.

Anyone else noticed that ?

I have. There's a difference in traffic patterns plus search.

BTW, you heard that yesterday Google changed everything over to Google Plus Your World. This is having an impact on all the traffic patterns I have access to.

It's mainly the Google+ change integrating friend's "+1'd" stuff in the top 10. Meh.

I read so many big and reputable seo blog and i found no any gig changes or minor changes in google algorithm.

Also it seems that a lot of changes happened in all my competitors in the first page. Also i see now many Youtube pages to rank in first page of searches.

Not a big fan of the +1 stuff either. I'm not alone. Twitter and Facebook aren't exactly happy, either. Seems to me this is Google flexing its muscle (again) in order to force other social networks to work out a deal.

Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt says Google+ content is not being favored over Twitter and Facebook by Google’s search engine. Rather, those companies can be treated the same if they grant Google the right permissions to access their content.

I haven't noticed any strong changes with any of my sites, but I have seen posts of this type on a few forums pointing to this exact period of time.

I've seen some dramatic changes in the rankings of some of my websites and those of my clients in the past couple of days, mostly for the better. I wondered if Google was doing another update, but haven't read anything about one going on. Of course, that doesn't mean there hasn't been an update. Maybe they're just not publicizing it.

Oh yes.You are right.I am checking the rank for keyword "elite weight loss" quiet recently and noticed the change in position of certain website.

That is why Google has this "god" complex.

If they keep doing stupid things, pick on the little guys and have too many projects going, they might end up hurting themselves more.

The external links are more beneficial than internal links.

Yes it's totally depend on google search engine algorithm that no one know that how it works and whats the straightly of this algo? Search engine only decide that what is your site quality, their accuracy and true information. And observe their traffic and backlinks to your sites. so finally it can't say that changes may be positive or may be negative.

None of my website rankings are changed.
p.s: i stay away from all social networking sites.. G+, twitter, facebook etc etc.
I just stick to backlinks :P

There is no major changes happened in the last 24 hours. It's just a normal tweak in Google SERP. So there's nothing to worry about. If there are major changes, It should have spread a day after it occurred.

Yeah there have been some changes on the serp results with a keywords.I couldn't point out exactly what changes they have made.

i agree to what you said. Google has changed itself in recent past. I heard it from many of webmasters. Issue might be google+, this factor is to be considered in rating i guess. like bing/yahoo takes fb/twitter into account.
