7 Jun 2011 Google announced support of the authorship markup tag.

A way to connect with all of your digital content.

I have already implemented it, but I think it is generally a lot of smoke and mirrors from Google.

I am using it, and I like the way it appears in the search results.

The only thing I don't I don't like about it, is when you click on view more by the author, it only shows work on that particular domain. You would think it would show all your work, across all the domains you contribute to.

i noticed it on a couple of websites and they have good amount of content available on their website but i would like to ask that whether it will be ok to use it on a site with very less amount of content?

I've enabled it for authors on a few of my sites. I've noticed a definite increase in CTR since adding it.

For example, on one site I maintain rank 2,3 or 4 across several hundred keywords. Traffic from those positions increased about 10-20%. It just catches the eye more, and it adds credibility with writing on certain topics.
