Ranking in Yahoo and Bing is tough then Google??

I see ranking high in Google is much easier then Yahoo and Bing. When I build backlinks regularly I see my rank in Google SERP increase everyday and I can rank on first page for low and semi competitive keywords usually within 1 month.

But Yahoo and Bing do not provide fast result like Google. These two SEs take time and they even don't respond to quality backlinks like Google.

So ranking high in Yahoo and Bing is tough then Google? Why?

Of my little experience I also think it's a bit easier to get better ranking in Goolge than Yahoo!

its true that bing and yahoo respond very slowly but i guess that would not last for long as bing has also started the webmaster tool. so i believe it would be helpful for ranking in these two SE's.

from what i see from awstats.. bing and yahoo don't crawl my site as often as google does.. maybe that's why it takes longer for them to show movement?

I believe Yahoo and Bing react slower to link building than Google does, but as a result your rankings are far more stable in those search engines.

I have a few keywords that hit the first page of Google and then started dancing. They have been dancing for the past two months. In this time, my Yahoo and Bing rankings for the same keywords have been stuck in the top 5 of Yahoo and Bing.

I have read that Yahoo and Bing reacts more to SPAMy backlinks- think volume. Whereas, Google likes high quality backlinks.

It's actually almost the opposite of Google. The spammer the links the better in Bing.

No it is not that ranking is tough in yahoo & bing than google. Actually I have noticed for many keywords like "Locksmith of atlanta" on google that is on 9th rank and in bing that is on 1st fir my site. So how can you say this?

I always higher and easier in bing/yahoo. they still look at META tags and scrapebox/xrumer links. combine these 2 and you can geta solid ranking

Yeah you are right but this is due to the techniques you have known are the based on google algorithm.Also it is the fact that SEO techniques are likely the same for all search engines only with some specifics algorithm.

Recently i used both Bing and yahoo, almost getting same rank from both. but I m normally use Google. Both are easier method.

I really do not agree with you, it all depends on your SEO Strategy. See in my case, I do rank well on bing and Yahoo for my local keywords but, really really working hard to push rank on Google. Yahoo and Bing respects/gives more value to the backlinks with related content than Google. Bigggg Mr.G needs lots of food (I mean lots of backlinks and etc) to get us to top on the other hand Yahoo & bing do not need much food... - As I said, I had proved it myself

As we all know that google provide more results based on quality backlinks and content and related keywords also. But for bing and yahoo i have heard that it takes on page SEO methods more for providing results. As i have heard from many people that they get best results from bing and yahoo after making usage of on page more.

No..its not tough to get good rankings in Yahoo and Bing but most of the SEO's do not know about the exact techniques to use while doing Seo for yahoo and Bing.

Yes it is not a tough but if you really want to target on particular search engine either yahoo or bing...we should use their web master tool and have to do local listing on that particular search engine.

Yes you are very right about yahoo and Bing. Ranking on yahoo and Bing is hard then google as many of SEO expert only work for google.com so you can easily get good tips on google SEO.

But very difficult to get tips on yahoo or Bing SEO. It is due to fact that google is popular then Yahoo and Bing and customers mainly demand Google SEO.

I never understand why my sites don't get much Bing/Yahoo traffic. Certainly it has never accounted for anything like 30% of traffic.

I don't even game the search engines. Bing/Yahoo seem to be terribly inefficient. It's almost like their spiders don't work properly and can't reach the entire connected internet.
