If you use either of these services, how many articles do you submit to be distributed on a daily/monthly basis? I would love to distribute 10 articles per day but that would cost about $10 a day to pay someone to write them which is about $300 a month on top of the cost of subscription. Just wondering how everyone else is doing it? |

BMR is easy, they are only 150 word posts that you need to submit..what I would do is just write them yourself. That is exactly what I do. I submit 10 150 word posts to the BMR network focusing on one page, and one keyword on my site. I do that until I get into the top 3 of Google. After that, I move on to the next keyword and keep going from there. When trying to rank for keywords on the front page of Google, your primary goal is to get as many keywords ranked in the top 3 as quickly as you can. I start with the easiest to rank; these keywords sometimes don't even need any backlinks, or if they do, only a single set of 10 will do just fine. Anyways, I do this every day, and it works out great for me. -- Jeff |

How legitimate is BMR? Do you have to target Low competition keywords or can it actually get your website on Google's first page for High competition keywords?

BMR is great!! I just used it on a HIGHLY competetive keyword with 15k locals a month and I just hit Page 1(#10 lol). I actually hired a writer @ 2 posts/$1 and he submitted at a 98% rate for 50 articles. I started on 12/31 and all the articles havent even been indexed yet. I'll do another set next week to see if I can break into the top 5. But what smartguy said is correct, hit 1 kw at a time and after u rank it move to another. I also write my own articles for BMR to supplement my writers....I outsource my money site and my wife actually does 4 others for me. Good luck to you. For writers just search around WF and trust me you will find cheaper writers. |

I've been a fan of BMR myself and it surely delivers great results.. approaching backwords is the best - so you should build 10 links to each of your niche site's pages and then build about 25-30 for the homepage. But BMR is not cheap given the additional cost of writing original content for submissions.. thats why I am trying Linkamotion which seems to be doing well so far.. anyone else tried it? |

Bill...can you let me know who you use as your writer (2 posts for $1). Unfortunately I cannot PM yet. Also what happens when you get into the top 3 of google for a keyword and move on? Wouldn't your link drop from the top 3 if you don't keep working on building links to it? |

I'll pm you, its a technique u have to use to get that kind of price. Depends on the competition but if u are managing your sites and checking rankings weekly that wont be an issue as all u have to do is start writing more articles for that kw....or u can never stop and totally pound the competition and make it tough to beat u....the thing to remember about BMR is that once your post falls off the front page u lose that high PR spot but that link is still there and counts for some juice albeit less powerful |

I just started using BMR a few weeks ago, and have been writing my own posts. I only write 5 posts per day, 1 to each of the 5 sites current in my account. Of the first 5 sites I started with, 3 of them have moved up to #1 or #2 (from top ten), with only 1 post per day. The other 2 are much higher competition and I haven't seen much movement (yet). I'm focusing on deep links for those sites now, to balance out the distribution. If that doesn't work I may try upping the number of posts per day to those sites and see if that gets them moving. So I archived the 3 top sites and activated 3 new ones, and one of those is already climbing up page 1 to #3 (again from top 10). BMR is working very well for taking a keyword stuck at #6-10 and moving it up to the top three. I'm very impressed so far, and am getting much better at writing the 150 word posts. I can crank out the 5 posts in just a few minutes, and am seeing results after just a few weeks. I also really like that you can archive and activate different sites whenever you want. |

Is there a limit to the number of posts you can make per day; per domain or in total?

Great to hear your success. An easy tip is that if u have a keyword with little competition you can rank pretty quickly using BMR with just a few posts a week but high competition takes the max to rank sometimes. I did 7-10 posts a day for almost 2 weeks b4 my page even got to page 1 and I'm still at the bottom and a few hundred links away from the top 5. @byalik - I'd advise u to look at the keywords you are targeting, if its low competition and easy to get #1 and the CPC x searches is good enough to justify the cost then do it. No need to do 10 posts a day if the competition is weak. Also if its strong and the ROI is great then its a good investment. I invested about $500 not even including the WSO's I've bought and I've been doing this for about 4 months now. My 1st full month of Adsense payment was over 500 and this month I'm on pace to hit at least 1200 all because I invested in my sites initially and took that gamble. Some sites wont convert with all the effort and some will convert with no effort at all, I guess thats the way of IM

How long does it take for the posts to be approved? I'm still waiting after 3 days.

BMR is definitely a great tool, but I would strongly suggest using it in combination with other link building methods and not solely as one itself. While it does bring results, if ANYTHING happened to the network and all of those links get devalued, you can assume what will happen next. I apply BMR into my overall SEO plan and it has definitely helped give me that nice boost in the SERPS when I need it. I'm trying out another link network right now in addition to BMR to see how it works, as the links on this network seem to stay on the homepage a LOT longer than BMR (where they roll off within a day or so). |

yeah normally mine are done the same day, 24hrs at most. According to their site all posts are checked within 48hrs. I'd submit a ticket to see whats up if its been 3 days. Does your post still say pending review? Cause getting them indexed sometimes takes up to a week and its different than approval.

Thanks, yeah it's pending review since the 11th. I guess it's been a little less than 48 hours then. My bad! hopefully they get posted soon, I'm dying to see the results because I hear BMR has great results.

My site (see signature) is not an affiliate site so my income level is trivial at this point in time which is why I have to be careful with how much I invest into SEO.

For high-competition keywords you really need related, authoritative links to rank. (At least a few of them). These are tougher to get but guest posting could do the trick. Plus it costs 0

I am already ranked very high #1-5 for some competitive keywords, but I am looking to rank for others now with a very small budget. It is basically going to require me to write my own articles which I dread doing.

You can write all day and put it on your own website. You can write all day and put on other websites. You can write all day and pay BMR to donate content to them. Either way, you are writing too damn much to run a real business

I write most of my BRM articles myself, but I do have a great writer on fiverr that whenever I dont have time to write myself, I pay him $5 and he writes and submits 4 posts with 100% acceptance rate. I do agree with others about targeting one keyword at a time. I do this myslef. The best part about doing it this way is that sometimes when you build bakcklinks for one keyword and rank for that keyword, it actually raise your site's authority level which makes it easier for your site to rank for other keywords. |

BMR is a great resource. Mainly because of the fact that it is a private network with many high PR links. Really the only way to beat that is to build your own network and control the number of out-bound links (because in my opinion BMR's are way to high). I submit 10 posts per day with most low-mid competition terms and they rank page one within a couple of months at least. |

If you are writing your BMR posts yourself, here's a tip: Write a bunch of articles every day in advance, so that you will always have a stash of articles ready for posting on the network. There's a limit of 10 x 150 word posts per domain on BMR. This can be used to your advantage if you want to make use of all the days. Have at least 50 articles handy anytime so you never run out of articles and don't end up missing a day.

BMR is best for one way high pr link building, but it needs quality articles(free from spellings and grammer errors).
