Default Adsense and unoriginal content

"Fact: We don’t allow sites with auto-generated or otherwise unoriginal content to participate in the AdSense program. This is to ensure that our users are benefiting from a unique online experience and that our advertisers are partnering with useful and relevant sites."

AdSense Facts & Fiction Part V: Unoriginal content - Inside AdSense

Is this true? There are tons of websites which have used adsense ads on autoblogs with copied content for a long time.

I just read about Content Revenge wp-plugin and creator of this plugin says he has made a lot of money by grabbing content and using adsense ads on his sites.

Yes there are hundreds of such sites mate but they only last until they are caught. If you want something solid (as much as it can be with IM) for the long term, better stay away from such tactics.

It's harder to rank unoriginal content, I've seen this many times with autoblogs and thin affiliate sites that I have and even with my latest review site where I ranked all 7 (just started) pages at page 1 / 2 /3 and the only one that stayed away at page 6/7 is a copyd sales letter.

Also people can complain to Adsense for copyright stuff or just report it as a crap site and your account would be in jeopardy.

Better write your own original content, should be 100% unique and not copied elsewhere. Otherwise, you will be in double trouble (ban from Adsense and complaint from the original writer).

Google is cracking down hard on content that has been duplicated. The Panda updates are partly responsible. Before, AdSense and and Search were totally separate at Google. Now, it appears, they are cooperating with each other.

You know that the candles burn brightly before extinguishing.Same case is there. These kinds of activities are good enough until caught and penalized by google. So avoid reading such articles and set your minf for positive and legal work only.

Couldn't agree with this more. I've seen a few references to this whole Content Revenge tool on the forum since I joined (I knew nothing about it prior), but the sites to me don't look so impressive, and almost look like they're begging to be blocked by Adsense once they catch them.

Maybe I'm wrong or a skeptic but I agree with your words in that the content should be original that you wrote... even if you take articles and reword them yourself with your own spin, it's still original content (we can all have our own perspective on the same topic... it's how IMers always sell more products related to the same topics... we all want to know this person and that person's perspective so we buy anyway)

Incidentally Dan, I wanted to briefly ask (couldn't PM you as of yet though you can PM me as I'll see and be able to read it) about the SEO Revenge ebook I believe you have on your site. I emailed the contact us email on the site with some questions but not sure if you got it or not as I never received a reply. Please let me know as I wanted to know a bit more on this ebook for my own sites. Thanks in advance.
