Default Can't Get Site Indexed (Any ideas?)

I've been working on a WP site for 2 months, and it's still not indexed by Google, Yahoo, or Bing. I can't figure out why, and am looking for suggestions.

The site is NorwalkHousePainter.com.

I've had other sites indexed very quickly without problems.

This site isn't using any plugins I don't use on other sites. (They include Akismet, BWP Google XML Sitemaps, cbnet Ping Optimizer, Easy WP SEO, Geo Press by The WP Coach, Google Analytics for WordPress, Quick Cache.)

I'm getting a huge headache from banging my head on the desk in frustration , so would really appreciate your help! Any ideas?

Thank you!

In your WP admin dashboard. Is the privacy section of your settings set correctly?

NorwalkHousePainter.com
Registrar History: 2 registrars with 1 drop.
Whois History: 13 records have been archived since 2010-04-28

I think that maybe the past register got banned by search engines for any blackhat technique. In google webmaster tools you can register your site and write them to explain this situation.

Try submitting this website to Google Webmaster Tools. Then you go to Diagnostics -> Fetch As GoogleBot -> Click Go -> Submit To Index

Not sure how I would modify the sitemap. Doesn't the plugin create it automatically? Here's part of a recent transcript from the sitemap generator's log:

Jan 13, 2012 : 16:07:52 —post.xml does not have any item. The plugin has fired a 404 header to the search engine that requests it. You should check the module that generates that sitemap (post.php).
Jan 13, 2012 : 16:07:52 —Cache file for module post is not found and will be built right away.
Jan 13, 2012 : 14:10:40 —Successfully generated page.xml using module page.php.
Jan 13, 2012 : 13:49:58 —Successfully generated sitemapindex.xml using module sitemapindex.php.
Jan 13, 2012 : 12:47:53 —taxonomy_category.xml does not have any item. The plugin has fired a 404 header to the search engine that requests it. You should check the module that generates that sitemap (taxonomy.php).
Jan 13, 2012 : 12:47:53 —Sub-module file: taxonomy_category.php is not available in both default and custom module directory. The plugin will now try loading the parent module instead.
Jan 13, 2012 : 12:47:53 —Cache file for module taxonomy_category is not found and will be built right away.
Jan 13, 2012 : 08:28:03 —Successfully generated site.xml using module site.php.
Jan 12, 2012 : 20:54:05 —Pinged Bing successfully!
Jan 12, 2012 : 20:54:05 —Error 403 from Yahoo: Forbidden
Jan 12, 2012 : 20:54:05 —Pinged Google successfully!
Jan 12, 2012 : 20:54:05 —Pinged Bing successfully!
Jan 12, 2012 : 20:54:05 —Error 403 from Yahoo: Forbidden

I don't know what any of that means, but the "Forbidden" errors from Yahoo concern me.

I've recently done a little social bookmarking and blog commenting (I'll beef up those efforts). I've done pinging as well (not excessively).

Yep. "Allow search engines to index this site" is selected.

Hmmm... never thought of that. I have registered/verified the site already in Google Webmaster Tools. I'll definitely follow up on this. Thanks!

I've already done that.

Thank you all for your speedy replies! I'd really be lost without this forum and the super, generous people here!

Google's reply to my request for reconsideration:

Quote:
We'll review the site. If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site. Please allow several weeks for the reconsideration request. We do review all requests, but unfortunately we can't reply individually to each request.
Several weeks? [SIGH] I'm glad a client isn't paying me for this site! (Yet)

I wonder, also, if Bing and Yahoo will automatically index the site after Google does (assuming they do so after reconsideration)... or if I have to manually ask them to this, as well. Anyone know?
